Cerro San Luis Obispo is a 1,292 feet (394 m) mountain in San Luis Obispo, California. It is part of the chain of peaks called the Nine Sisters. It is sometimes refered to as Madonna Mountain. It is a popular spot for mountain biking and hiking, offering spectacular views and steep terrain. There is a wide dirt road traversing the mountain that leads to the peak. Right below the west side of the visible peak, there is a fairly large plateau with a large wooden stage on the east end. A large white "M" is present on the east face, which derives from the Mission School and not Madonna as most believe. The mountain is popular for mountain biking and hiking.

  • In case your dumbazz can't read He told you that in the first sentence DOH!!!!
  • Please be aware the majority of San Luis Mountain (aka Madonna or Cerro San Luis) is private property. The property owners have been very generous in allowing nearly full access to multiple trail users. PLEASE respect their property. DO NOT under any circumstances cut fences, climb fences, make new trails or leave any gates open. Failure to care for this property will jeopardize opportunities for access. Thanks! And please don't ride trails when they are wet. keep singletrack single!
  • Does anyone out there know the elevation of Cerro San Luis Mountain ?
