  Mr Venkappa Shetty a self made man ,A man who is rightly called as the man of his words , Mr Venkappa Shetty who was the Alape Gram Panchayat president undisputedly for 25 years . The new generation might not be aware about his works he conducted to improve the village but if you check with any person of the older generation they might be able to tell you what he was.He was rightly a Masseya (Saviour) for everyone . Even today Mr Shetty is my inspiration to move ahead in life following the path of Hardship .. Hats of to the Man ....
