Lennox Generating Station is a dual fueled oil and natural gas plant. Located on the eastern shore of Lake Ontario near Bath, Lennox GS has been in operation since 1976.
The station now has a capacity of 2120 MW from its four dual-fuelled units. All four units can use natural gas in summer smog season, and oil in winter when natural gas is needed for home heating. The plant and its 150 employees play a key role in helping Ontario meet peak power demands.
