It seems to mean "star's Tower" but comes from "is tellas", flat stones in sardinian language. Torre delle Stelle is one of the most renowed sea resort around Cagliari. There are two nice white sandy beaches, Genn'e Mari and Cann'e Sisa. During the high season, some kioskos open on the beaches and also some bar/restaurants/pizzeria inside the village. There are also two supermarkets with typical products. During the low season, from October to May, all the services are closed and the village becomes the perfect place for sea and nature lovers.
