  • Prior to Hurricane Hugo, the waterslide was a built to appear as a natural rock formation structure. There were three slides that emptied similarly into the pool. The name prior to Myrtle Waves' association with the slide was "Wild Rapids." The site used to have an arcade, although it may still have one.
