Illintsi is a village located 30 km west of Chornobyl, over the Ilya River. It was located in the Chornobyl district, now it is the territory of Ivankiv district of Kyiv region. In 1999, it was removed from the register due to the resettlement of residents.
In 1986, all the residents were resettled as a result of the Chornobyl accident, but some later returned as self-settlers. As of 2006, about 40 people lived in the village, and Illintsi was considered the "capital" of self-settlers. As of 2013, only two permanent residents remained in Illintsi. During the fires of 2015, part of the village burned down and no permanent residents remained.
