  • I studied for 12 years in this school in hostel, from 1966 till 1978. You can take my word. It is the best boarding school in the hills in India. Your child would be safe, learn well, play all games, be happy, and not have any bad habbits. In 1988, on the centenary celebrations of this school, several of us old timers got together from around the globe, and one strange aspect in all our characters was visible. None of us smoked, or was on drugs, or into using abusive language. None was wearing ear rings (men), or silly clothes. All were well settled in life and had decent, well mannered attitude towards others. Send your child to this school, girl or boy. However, in case you have the time yourself to look after the child every day, then it is always better to have the child with you at home, for after all the child also misses the family. But if you are too busy or due to some other reason cannot look after the child yourself, then Wynberg Allen is like another home.
  • nothing like the word 'another home ',That is what Wynberg Allen is about, its one of my greatest nostalgias God bless the school for itself. I was a student in the year 1977
  • time spent in this school was great it's left nice memories in my mind especially the books i read from the school library, the interaction with fellow students and friends was exciting and fun with enough space and respect, the teachers were very fair towards each one of us and that enabled a sense of communal harmony as well as being in a home away from home.
  • I studied in this wonderful school from first to sixth as a boarder, the childhood days are still clear in front of me,getting a brand new 2 rupee currency after the letter writing period as pocket money, struggling in the feild at football matches with other schools specially St georges most of the time, being in hospital with chiken pox, sunday school at the union church, fancy fair, first day at the swimming pool memmoriers go beyond and beyond. Will never forget how well Mrs.Newton & later Mr.Houghton took such care of us in junior school & ralstan Mannar.I miss freinds Steven shah, andrew, ajay jaisingh and other classmates whom i have never seen since i left school in 1976. I wish the school all the very best.
  • I do agree with Ratish Sharmas comments. Sachin Tendulkar is advised to take his son out from woodstock, and put him in wynberg.
  • I miss my old school! I never realised back then that my 8 years there would be the happiest of my life.
  • I am sending my daughter there. Hope I am taking the best decision in my life.
