Twenty authors and groups of authors entered their works in the competition of the monument, dedicated to the 1000- anniversary of Yaroslavl'. In the course of two stages two most significant works were selected. Group of authors from Moscow under the management of the member of the union of the artists of Russia Mikhail Nikolayevich Tochenogo became conqueror. Be arranged monument will be on the lower pointer in the confluence of the rivers of the Volga and Kotorosli, on the spot existing large fountain along the axis, which goes from the constructed Uspenski cathedral to the temple complex in the cow sheds.

  • Twenty artists teams and individual artists submitted their designs to the competition for a monument to mark the 1000th anniversary of City of Yaroslavl'. In course of the two stages of the competition, two most significant (appealing) designs were selected. The Moscow team of artists led by a member of the Artists' Union of Russia Mikhail N ikolaevich Tochenogo has won the competition. Their monument will be placed at the point where the Wolga and the Cotorosl' merge....?????
