Midwest Plaza in a 320-ft, 20-floor skyscraper in Downtown Minneapolis. It was constructed from 1968-1969. A 13-story addition to Marquette Avenue was completed in 1972, comprising of first-floor retail space, a 870-space parking garage on 7-floors, and five floors of office space. The building has a floor area of 415,000 sq ft. Midwest Financial Savings and Loan was the building's primary tenant for several decades and is the building is sometimes called the Midwest Financial Building. The building was bought by Midwest Properties, a commercial real estate property, in December 1994. Midwest Plaza served as the home of the fictional WJM-TV station in the Mary Tyler Moore Show.

The building is connected by skyway to The Metro Apartments, the Medical Arts Building, and the IDS Centre.
