Manly Beach (Sydney)

Australia / New South Wales / Sydney

The first of Sydney's Northern Beaches.

Manly-Queenscliff Beach faces the east, is 1.4km long and receives waves averaging 1.5m at Queenscliff dropping toward 1m at Manly. Queenscliff Beach lies below the heavily built-up Queenscliff Head and the surf club is just south of the lagoon entrance. Limited parking is provided along Ocean and adjacent streets. The beach is within ten minutes walk from Manly Wharf and a headland tunnel connects the beach, via the rocks, to Freshwater Beach

I understand the Government conspiracy was that it was in fact human testosterone that was washed up on the sand in Manly, thus the reason why Manly beach is acclaimed with having such white sand. Further there have been supposedly been many reports of women falling pregnant after visiting Manly.
