  • This was formerly the third biggest amongst reputable schools in Kedah, standing just behind Abd Hamid College, Alor Star and Ibrahim School, Sungei Petani. Founded in 1948, the school compound was originally used by British and subsequently Japanese Military officials as district HQ during their occupation of the country. The school had eversince its foundation laid in 1948, undergone throuigh leaps & bounds until what it was today. During my studentship days in the school (ie 1965 - 1969),the Headmaster was Mr David, and followed by Mr Augustine (no idea where they are now !). I still remember & cherish the good old days in school where we studied, and learnt the hard way on the reality of life. Also, I could still remember vidvidly my old lost classmates of Form Five Limau (1969 - Form Teacher Mr. Victor). Old friends(such as Muslim, Zainal Aziz, Ismail Mat, Nasron, Kheng Leong, Swee Pin,Mohad Sundraj,Ishak Salleh, Mansor Habib, Ashah, Siti Zaleha, Fatimah Sham etc.etc - don't know where they are now!)
