Neharu bridge was open in 1962. Very well know and very busy bridge of Ahmedabad. This bridge gives major connection to Real Old city (Kot Vistar) with West Ahmedabad. This bridge is used by commuter who are living in area like Paldi-Ellisbrige- Ambavadi -Navarnpura to enter into old city. Bridge is very popular in commuter because its east side give you very close connection to Relief Road, Gandhi Road & Kalupur Train Station Via Relief road. Bridge is also used by maximum number of AMTS buses (Public transport service) because on east side Major AMTS bus terminal call Lal Darwaja is located. On West side of this bridge very famous revolving hotel Pantang is located.
