  • My dad was a principal of Race Course Primary School, MR. P. L.Shah in 60's. I was a student in 60's and remember MR. Bhardwaj. Recently I visited the school.. Met the principal, and the deputy (Vice Principal) was v. courteous to show us around. nice memories.. I live in Detroit, USA.
  • I was at this school until 1969, when I left and went abroad, aged 13. I would love to hear from some one, who may have been there in my class at the time. The teachers I remember are Mr S T Hussain, who was our class teacher. Another teacher I remember was Mr Mann. I think Mr Shah was the feared Headmaster at the time. Students, that I can remember, in my class were - Ravinder, who use to bully me !, Hasmukh and an indigenous Kenyan called Tom.

  • I am posting this here as for some reason it gets deleted from Racecourse Primary School. Hello Jayendra my friend !; yes I remember you very well; it's a small world. I had even marked your house (Desai Building) as Jayendra's house, but for some reason it got overwritten.. I remember your court-yard in Desai Building, where the women used to make Papads and other tasty Gujrati foods. I have left you a comment on Desai building - have a look.

  • Hi Harsh.I was at racecourse primary school from 1957 to 1963. I can remember Mr K. P Shah . Mr Vaz was vice principal to Mr Shah. Mr M.K Patel use to take our gujarati class. Mr vaz was our Geography teacher.I can remember Mr Sindhu. Mr Dhall . & Mr fransisco . Mr Desai was my teacher in Std 5 .Now I am in U.K. Retired. Would love to know about some other students.I think can remember Indira.
