This building complex was the site of the European Primary Boarding School, Mbeya, in the 1950s. From this view it can be seen that all the original buildings, including the headmasters & teachers houses still stand.There appear to have been a few additional buildings erected and the size of the sports fields have been reduced. The school boundary extended between the road to the South and the river to the North.

  • As Ibrahim has commented, the school is now known as IYUNGA TECHNICAL SECONDARY SCHOOL and anybody can visit us through www.iyungatechnicalschool.sc.tz We expect to hear from old schools wanting to get recent information about their former school.HEAD OF SCHOOL.
  • I studied here for a year in form II in '68. Our dorm was lumumba, Mr. Mtabi was the headmaster then. I remember Rasul Khan, Mark and Peter Rowland,Ching,Zahir, the Halwenge brothers and a bunch oh other guys from Limumba dorm.
  • I 1966 to 1969, Mr.Mutabi died, the Rowlnds had a tea estate in Tukuyu, the Halwenges were Kenyans, Kei Ping Chow from Kurasini Dar es Salaam and so many have died too bad too young.
