Casa Grande

Colonial, two-story house on a hill overlooking San Carlos bay. Built by a European aristocrat [citation needed] early in 20th century. It was the only two story house in the entire peninsula. It was so spectacular that passing Indians and Spaniards alike, called it Casa Grande. Now, the descendants live in shacks near by. This residence was lavishly furnished. Even had a grand piano imported from England.
