This impressive building has been interwoven into the history of 3 connected families; The Knyvetts, Lynns and Caprons. Each subsequent family contributed to Southwick's splendour making various adjustments and additions from as as early as 1300 to the present day.The hall has retained it medieval base and all the phases of different architecture have blended smoothly due to the limestone and Collyweston that has been used throughout.
