Zekharia (Hebrew: זְכַרְיָה) is a moshav in central Israel. Located near Beit Shemesh, it falls under the jurisdiction of Mateh Yehuda Regional Council. The village was established in 1950 by immigrants from Kurdistan.

This Zakariyya the village of my ancesstors . now occupied by Jews from Kurdistan ..Our people have been evacuated and they now live in refugee camps ..some of us remained insde Palestine. the live in Ramleh...we ask all the human beings all over the world to support our right to return home to our beloved Zakariyya...We will nerver forget or forgive ..until we go back home...to Zakariyya
