Maronas (Greek:Μάρωνας,Turkish:Μαρονα) is an abandoned Turkish Cypriot village in the Paphos District.It was named after the Saint Maron,which indicates that it was inhabited by Maronites.After the Ottoman conquest took place a process of islamization .In 1960 lived 100 Muslims and 10 Christians.The village was abandoned in 1975.
