Non-ecologic, non-EU standard compliant wasteland of Sannicolau-Mare. During the summer, it auto-ignites quite often, resulting smoke affecting the quality of the air in the Southern part of the town. It was (or still is) used by some local factories for the discharge of specific industrial waste like insulated wires, adhesive tapes, etc.

Legally it should be closed and sanitizes in the next couple of years, as part of assuring compliance with EU environmental regulation.
