Wreck USS Harry W. Hill (DD-986)

The 24th member of the Spruance Class, the Harry W. Hill served with the US Navy from 1979 to 1998 based out of San Diego and saw action in the First Gulf War.

She decommissioned earlier than most of her sisters due to severe damages sustained to her propulsion systems while in drydock and was sunk in this location as a target on June 15th, 2004 as part of RIMPAC (Rim of the Pacific) Excercises.
