Wreck of USS Kinkaid (DD-965)

The Kinkaid was the 3rd member of the Spruance Class of Destroyers and served the US Navy from 1976 to 2003, seeing repeated service in the Persian Gulf.

Following her decommissioning she was placed into the reserve fleet at Pearl Harbor and was sunk as a target at this location on July 14, 2004 in 2,548 fathoms.
