Brassica will open its fourth Central Ohio location at Easton Town Center next year.
The fast-casual eatery is aiming for a summer 2021 opening at 3922 Easton Square Place East, just across the street from sister restaurant Northstar Cafe.
Taking over space that was once part of J Crew, the Easton restaurant will be similar in size to the Bexley and Upper Arlington locations.
Brassica Co-Founder Sean Jones says they had been in talks with Easton for some time about finding the right spot to bring the concept to the shopping center. Now that they’ve found it, Jones says they are focused on creating the same casual, comfortable environment as the other restaurants.
“One of the bigger challenges for us with this particular location is how to design the restaurant so it meshes naturally with the businesses that surround us,” Jones says.
There will be a few adjustments to the area as Brassica takes over. A couple of nearby curbside parking spaces will be removed to make way for a patio. Jones says Brassica will also offer curbside pickup and delivery, which have become essential parts of their business model since the pandemic began.
Brassica at Easton will have the same menu of Mediterranean-style, build-your-own sandwiches and salads the eatery is known for, and serve beer and wine as well.
With Easton’s destination status for folks visiting Central Ohio, Jones is excited for new diners to discover Brassica and to reach new audiences.
Brassica currently operates three restaurants in Central Ohio – Short North, Bexley and Upper Arlington, and one location in Cleveland in Shaker Heights.
