  • This is the small missle range, part of White Sands Missile Range.
  • actually i grew up here. its called hlstf, or hellstaff as it is called. no idea what they do there, all hush hush, but rumor has it they test new lasers there

  • This is not HELSTF. HELSTF is located farther to the northeast along Hwy. 70. ROOFUS is correct.
  • with tanks to the south. even spaced tracks where you can drive tanks about a mile long.... what about a tank shooting range to test projectiles. No lasers. is my guess
  • The name is correct: they test anti-tank missiles here. Different types, different ranges, sometimes moving targets on a sled, etc. That's why there's a "graveyard" with a wide variety of both US and Soviet tank hulks there.
