 neighbourhood, draw only border

San Telmo is one of the oldest barrios of Buenos Aires, preserving old buildings and street layouts famous for their charm. It is an area of cafés, antique shops, cobblestone alleys, filled on weekends with artists and dancers, and many tourists. It was a central locale, during the 1920s-1930s, of the 19th c. Argentine "tango" dance tradition which made BA and Argentina generally famous, throughout the European dance and musical and artistic worlds. Tango still is taught, in schools in San Telmo, and performed regularly there in streets and cafes as well as in larger BA concert halls. Plaza Dorrego is the center of the street-life: an ongoing antique fair is held there.
