Veer Narmad South Gujarat University Campus.

There was a time when known Historians, Political Scientists and Sociologists were working in this Centre. It is now famous for its legal battle with the South Gujarat University. Centre is also famous for L. Backer and his ruins. Come and visit CSS, we have preserved some of it for you. We once had a Director, who when asked in his interview, for the faculty position, if he had any vice, replied nun. Incidentally, he is an ordinated minister of catholic church.

Jokes apart, we have one of the finest library in the state, with a collection that you will not find any where in Gujarat. Our work on caste, class and marginalised section of society like Dalits and Tribals is considered senstive and insightful by peers.
