A great park with 9 holes of disc golf with very few obstacles, good for beginners and as practice for more challenging courses. The course is always popular when the sun's out. Located at the site of Eugene's former airport, the soil is compacted and has poor drainage, so it's a bit soggy during the wet season or after the sprinklers have been on.

  • Long live disc golf!
  • The Westmoreland Disc Golf Course is 9 pins (alternating A/B each) with concrete pads. Try to avoid the wet season, as this park gets REALLY muddy. This course sees a lot of use, disc golfers and otherwise. Most pins are on the short side, with very few physical obstacles and a small amount of hill-play. The hardest part of playing on this course is dealing with the wind (Lots of it, and it rarely dies). Try going in the morning to avoid the wind and other park goers.
  • The pad for Pin 1 is in the south-west corner, look for a bench facing 2 rows of trees. Don't park in Bi-mart's lot! They may tow! There is street parking available to the west, and a parking lot to the south.
  • Great course, plenty of nearby street parking, just look at the map. Duh. This is an awesome course if you want a quick run-through.
