  hi friends, am Arjun i completed my M.sc Physics with condensed matter physics(solid state physics)as specalisation from department of physics University College Of Science, osmania University Hyderabad. I am living in jannepally.I want to share my village history with you.I will tell you actually why the name jannepally has to........before this people used to call with several names. In olden days people in our village had done so many "YAGNAS".So it becomes the "YAGNAMPALLY" later it was named as "JANNUMPALLY" because "YAGNAM" means "JANNUM" in Sanskrit and later it converted into "JANNEPALLY".Iam feeling proud of my village.

  Thanks Arjun for sharing your comments on Wikimapia.....I too want to share my feelings about my village jannepally, i like my village a lot & am proud of saying i came from jannepally village..There is a famous Lord Shiva temple in my village, it has a big story how this temple was built..Really we feel peacefully if we visit this Lord Shiva temple in my village..And whenever i get holidays or free time i used to definitely go to my village..So its my pleasure to feel my sharings with you people..I Miss my village a lot...Thank you
