The Battle Maniaki was one of the military engagements of the Revolution of '21 with a victorious outcome for the Egyptians and Greeks were defeated . In the battle that took place in May 1825 killed Papaflessas .
Papaflessas led 1000 men rushed to the tiny hair serum , where makeshift fortified position Maniaki , known since then as " drum Papaflessa " to defend her by Ibrahim who marched to the addict 6000 Egyptians.
On May 20, 1825 by 1000 men Papaflessa most deserted the face of overwhelming and Egyptian forces were only 300 who fought and died to some . Ibrahim sought out his corpse Papaflessa which was found headless and ordered to be placed upright .
