Kommeno (Κομμένο) is a community in the prefecture of Arta, Greece. Population 835 (2001). During the Axis Occupation of Greece in World War II, the village was the site of a massacre perpetrated by the German 1. Gebirgs-Division, which, on 16 August 1943, executed 317 inhabitants and torched the village.
