Swan Pool (Falmouth)

The Swan Pool is situated in Falmouth, it is one of the important brackish lagoons in Britain. Swan Pool remained a freshwater lake until 1826, when an outlet to the sea was constructed, allowing sea water to enter during high spring tide and bringing the level to the lake to that of to-day.
