A very popular Temple, which attracts devotees from far and wide. Infact all the surrounding areas are named after the Goddess Banashankari as Banashankari 1st stage, 2nd stage, 3rd stage etc.

Friday is very special day at this Temple. Special Poojas are performed and women outnumber men at this temple. It is a common sight to see women making Ghee Lamps using Squeezed out Lemon Halfs and offering Aarati to Goddess Banashankari.

The Temple complex is sprawling and spacious. The bus stop closeby helps bring thousands of devotees daily. A must visit temple for devotees.
