Mandhata is also called as "Shivapuri" hence the Trinity of Hinduism is Formed in Omkareshkar by including " Brahmapuri" and "Vishnupuri" on the other side of River Narmada.

Mandhata is the name of an Island on Narmada river on which one of the Jyotirling Temple "Omkareshwar" is located.

This Island has the Shape of the Religious Symbol "OM" formed naturally by Uphill mountain terrain.
