Camden Station (Baltimore, Maryland)

USA / Maryland / Mount Vernon / Baltimore, Maryland
 train station  Add category

Operates both as a MARC Commuter Railway station and a station along Baltimore's regional Light Rail system.

MARC Rail: It is the northern terminus of the MARC Commuter Rail's Camden Line, which connects Baltimore to Washington, DC's Union Station. Riders can transfer to the Baltimore Light Rail via the adjacent Camden Yards Light Rail Station. Despite the proximity of this station to Oriole Park at Camden Yards, it is not an effective form of transportation to and from most Oriole games, because MARC trains on this line are only in service on week days, and the last train departs from Camden Station at 6:35 PM.

Light Rail: Known as "Camden Yards Station," it serves Oriole Park at Camden Yards and is a popular form of game-day transportation. Normally the Light Rail suspends service at 11pm each night; on game nights, however, trains continue to operate both northbound and southbound from this station until thirty minutes after every evening Orioles game concludes, no matter how late.
