El Metro’s “Park & Shop” provides relief from congested downtown at the
Laredo Transit Center parking garage, conveniently located at 1301
Farragut Street across from Jarvis Plaza. El Metro’s long running parking
facility (since 1998), enables both tourists and Laredoans to park at the
Transit Center for the lowest rate in town, $0.75 an hour. If you plan a
whole day of shopping or exploring, your maximum charge is only $6.00.
$10.00 will take care of your parking fee for an overnight stay. All El Metro routes start here. The Greyhound Bus Station is also located here and there is a Burger King.
