Tsez village (Tsuntinsky district). Population: 690 (2008). Administrative center for the Shaurinsky village council. Place name in Avar language is "Moqoqi". They speak the Mokok dialect 'newo' of Dido "proper". Second language is Avar and third is Russian.

On August 22, 2016, the village was badly damaged by a fire, about 500 people were left homeless.
Inhabitants were moved to Tazen-Kala in the Vedeno district in 1944 but were allowed to come back to Mokok in 1957.
