The last trolley remaining. The original 3 line service ended in 1951. It was restored as a heritage line along the West Mountain Avenue route in the 1980s and continues to run during the Summer months. Birney Safety Streetcar No. 21, which runs the route, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) for its significance to the public transportation history of Fort Collins. The trolley was built in 1919 by American Car Company of St. Louis, Missouri.
