  • We hail from Vishnampettai, My great Grand father was Subbraya Iyer and he had 4 sons V.S. Subramania Iyer (Rajah Iyer), V.S.Ramachandra Iyer, V.S.Sundaresa Iyer, & V.S.Radha Krishna Iyer. My father V.S.SanthanaKrishnan is Mr.V.S.Subramania Iyer's Only Son. He had 3 sons & 3 daughters. Meenakshi, mangalam and Mathuram being daughters and Ramasubramanian(Kannan),Panchapakesan(Kumar) and Ramakrishnan(Annai).

  • I am told that my great grand father is from Vishnampettai (Name : SAPTHARISHI) and my grand father - Venkataraman moved to Chennai sometime in 1904. My father's name is V Saptharishi. Out of curiosity I had visited Vishnampettai some ten years back. I went around the village for about half-an-hour or so, and returned as I don't know anyone in that village. Would like to know more about this village. I am settled in Pune for the last 30 years, working a Public limited company.

  • My grand father V.S. Srinivasan was from Vishnampettai. I had visited few times for vacation until I was 7 years of old. After which we have sold the house and land as there were none to take care after my grand fathers death. My great grand father name was V.S. Sundaresan who had constructed a big house in Vishnampettai.
  • I just learnt that my grand father Mr Subramanium Sastry was staying in Vishnampetti and was a " Kannakpullai " for a village called vitthalapuram. This is in the period of 1920s and 1940s. My father S Saranathan , his sisters and brother studied in the school there before they moved to Pune on the death of my grandfather.   • This place is not Vishnampettai. It is only Puduchatram. Vishnampettai is located about 3km NE of this place. It is 2km east of Nagachi village. I resided in Puduchatram for more than 8 years. We use to walk to temple at Tiruchanur, nearer to Vishnampet and almost on the banks of Kollidam, during Thaivelli kizhamai.

  • I know Santhanam much Senior to me. we resided just 2 houses away. I am son of Sundari Teacher. The School in Vishnampettai was founded by my great grand father Kittu Sar. I am Mohan alongwith siblings Vasu,Jayanthi and Chon..Swarna ..Jayathu mami peran pethi !
