A beautiful village, near Narkanda hill station, tourist place next to shimla. native place of Mrs Indira Kalta wife of Madan Lal Kalta. Nagrot is a lovely place to live in. Hatu Peak is to in the East of Nagrot. The sun rises right on top of the hatu mata Temple. We pray the mother Durga of Hatu every morning and then only we start the business or routine of the day. Nagrot is only 700 mtrs awy from Narkanda hills.This village is also surronded by another village called (JAL)where mrs Indira actually took birth.

  • Staying at Nagrot is like a dream as it is a beautiful village surrounded by various trees. It is very close to National Highway which passes through Narkanda. People of this village are very innocent and helpful. The village is covered by layers of snow during winter and the hilly village is a source of Natural AC during summer. One can enjoy the beauty of land which is filled with APPLE trees. Apples are plucked in the month of August-Sept every year but we can enjoy the taste of this juicy fruit all over the year as it is stored in natural cold place.
