Designed by Richard Neutra. The interior was renovated in 2014; furniture by HighTower was added. On the second floor of the library is the Sanford Memorial Window which was salvaged from the Brooklyn campus of Adelphi Academy. Fabricated by J. & R. Lamb Studios, the window was donated in honor of John A. Sanford. It was moved to Swirbul Library from Levermore Hall in 2004.
