The building shown has been demolished and replaced with a new, larger structure (2005 or 2006, if I recall). One interesting feature of the new Marathon station is that it has a "control tower" extending up some 30 feet into the air. Observation will show a human figure standing inside the windows of the control tower, looking intently to the south, dressed in what appears to be military garb. The figure is a mannikin, reportedly named Kelly. From inside the gas station it can be seen that she is stuck up on a narrow ledge, high above the cash registers.
