    Mine associativity with Jamalpur cannot be fathomed.In my perception this is the best place on earth.The geographic location of this place is marvelous:be it it's vivid senario from KALI PAHAR ,roaming at WATER FILTER,relaxing in the GOLF GROUND or seeing the human conquest in the legendry RAILWAY WORKSHOP etc. This place is devine. The founder of ANANDMATH,got enlightened serving this peice of land.Actually, this a very good example of the blanced blend of nature and human achivement. But ,like any oter precious thing, this place too needs a good care. Development of Jamalpur is infact our own progress.The pride it has enjoyed durring the time of British rule,is no more.Day by day the the degradiation has been going on .We cannot point finger at any one ,trully speaking, we all are responsible for this condition of our home town. But,we need not be sad and ponder over this bad aspect.Together we can make a difference.Drops adding together makes an ocean .So,we can try at our own level and watch the good result. THANK YOU.

    Jamalpur is my native place. I brought up there at Yar Ali para(BaridariaPur). Our Family had come from Burdwan Dist of West Bengal. My Great Grand Father Sri Shashi Bhushan Ghosh was Graduate at that time when a very few people were Graduate. The Jamalpur Rly workshop( The First Workshop in Asia) had stated then. On request by the Administration he gladly shouldered the responsibility of building the Railway High School, still it is the best School of the area. My Youngest Grand Father Sri Nirendra nath Ghosh, who secured the First Indian to awarded by Railway Scholarship to study in U.K. After coming from UK he become the first brown-skin Officer, and use to receive white-skin allowance. His quarter was at Safiasarai, a Rly Station had build up to carry his drinking water, now at his quarter a college named JRS College is functioning. Keeping aside our family history, I during my childhood I have enjoyed the place like anything, The Kali Pahar where a Famous Kali Mata Temple is still my point of attraction. From there if you look at the town below its pictorial view is fantastic, during the rainy season the water fall,Golf Field, the water-works and the lakes of surrounding area sometimes reminds me the country side of Europe. The people were coming for change, the drinking water is still very digestive and healthy. If the Local Govt and any multinational Company takes the initiative to develop the valley of the Kalipahar, I am sure it will be a great tourist spot.

    hi friends.this is kundan from nakkinagar.u can identify me very easily bcoz in nakkinagar only one Maharaj family living there.i can not describe jamalpur.its a marvelous city in Bihar.you will get so many things like good atmosphere,nature,etc.i miss this place ,samosa,sweets,chats,paanipuri,etc.r u feeling water drops in ur mouth after hearing this names.i have studied in Railway no. 1 school,then R.B.High School.it was aslo nice experience for me.there are so many places to visit like kaali temple,golf ground,nature,mountain,etc.what ever i will tell u it may b u can't believe so i invite u to come jamalpur and experience by urself.

    Dear all Jamalpur is my birth place and i regard as a my mother land . its a historical , educational, religious place- here is my lots of memories- like - Jhoolam (Raksha Bandhan)at Dharmshal, Durja Puja Vsejan Mela at Jbli well, Kali puja at Rampur colony, Anand marg Dharam Sabha at Walipur, Mohharm At Sadar Bazar, Movie At Avantika anr Railway cienema, Drama and Dance at CI East Colony, Footbal Match At JSA, and many more -- .i miss this place ,samosa,sweets,chats,paanipuri,etc so We start a business of POGO ice-cream. it is my home production for jmp people with all inter national test and flavor
