Designed c. 1931 in the Tudor Revival/Thuringian German style by Jack Meyer (of the firm of Meyer & Mathieu) and was built by Roberts, Nash & Co. It is one of the few structures outside of New York City from the Flatbush-based firm. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
