  • Correction: 1,000+ feet high. Since the summit of Mount McKay is 1610', and Lake Superior is 602', the top of Mount McKay is at least a thousand feet above the Kam River, just 900 yards to the north.
  • It is place where Thunder Birds rest as they travel Turtle Island checking on the Indians.
