hillfort, interesting place, iron age
An oval hillfort surrounded by earth ramparts that probably dates to the Late Iron Age. Tasburgh church lies within the fort. The best preserved ramparts lie on the northern side where there is still an ancient hedgerow. The site is owned by Norfolk Archaeological Trust and is managed by Tasburgh Parish Council.
