This surau holds congregation prayers(solat berjemaah) for Zuhur(Noon) and Asr(evening) which caters for Muslim who are working in the city of Kuala Terengganu. For other prayers such as Maghrib(dusk), Isya'(Night)and Subuh(Dawn)may be there are also congregation prayers(Solat berjemaah)but the numbers of the people are not as many during office hours. During fasting month(Ramadhan)this surau acts as the centre of paying zakats to working adults, because only those who have their own income must pay their zakats or in other words they are regarded as adolescents.
