  • A wooden-clad bridge, metal frame, suspension bridge. Crossed it twice in June 2007. It can carry one car or toyota van at a time... Cannot take too much weight as it might collapse! Only wide enough for one car to cross at a time! When I crossed it, I saw a piece of the wooden plank fall to the river below - so don't know how long it will last. A new bridge is being built paralell to this. Also when we went we saw a scene being shot there by a TV crew for some Pakistani soap/drama!!!
  • basically each car can carry at least 25 mirpuris so what they need to do is to get out and walk across.....in a single file. then bridge might last a few more years as we will not build a new one for them. as for the wagons - they carry at least 60 mirpuris and thats just one family! a regular visit back to mirpur for a typical british mirpuri family can involve at least 100 mirpuris, and usually at least 4 generations.

  • Well Lahori, thats one way of sayin it but what does he mean we will build them another one, that idiot should have been fed to that poor anaconda. To say that4 genrations travel together is a good thing unlike here most kids grow up apart-parents, hussany should be thrown of the bridge tied to a few big marbles which he is missing, and yes they are building a new bridge too.
