By far the least busiest station between London Waterloo and Reading. Considering that the least used stations after Longcross between London Waterloo and Reading still have about 200,000 footfall year, it is ridiculously quiet attracting less than 300 a year (that's about a single journey every working day). It is located some distance from the nearest village of Longcross at the end of a dirt-track, by a former MOD site, or having driven through a golf-course.

The station is located in some woodland and was never very busy but fell into a worse state when the military site nearby closed. Trains don't normally stop here, although they have done more in the past when filming has taken place at the nearby ex-military site. The station is inaccessible by vehicles and it is unstaffed.

  • That should the "least busy". Its day will come again as the MoD site is now abandoned and there is a thriving film studio there now. Also part of the site will soon be a housing estate for some 1500 new homes ..... that could generate some interest.
