  As much as I hate to put this car dealership on this website, they are still part of McHenry. My issue with Gary Lang starts back in 2000 after I bought my new Grand Am from them. The two years following my purchase was nothing but trouble with this dealer. I would bring my car in for service and none of the work was ever under warranty. Some of the work done include replacing my flywheel, fixing my power steering system, replacing my entire brake system (brakes, rotors, brake line, etc) twice, replacing driver-side seat belt, replacing power window system on both sides of the car, fixing a coolant leak, along with replacement of minor belts and hoses. In hindsight the "big stuff" should have been covered under the standard warranty (2 yr, 36k miles), but it wasn't. In total, I probably spent at least $8000 in repairs in the first two years of owning my car. In addition to my feeling they've ripped me off, the mechanics had a penchant for my music CDs and kept them (i.e. they stole them from my car). I would never recommend purchasing a car from these people or even bringing your car in for service here. If you need a car, new or used, or if you need to have your car fixed go elsewhere.
