  • В нём уничтожали бомбы с фосгеном, путём подрыва на глубине 4м. В каком то году было наводнение и вода попала в близлежащие овраги, питающие пруд в золоторёвке... так там рыба повсплывала :D )))))))))))))))))) Сейчас правда говорят таам кто то заводится начал :D

  • Dead lake (another name - Round lake) near Leonidovka. It has artificial origin. During cold war it was used for destruction of chemical weapons. The gas shells from neighbouring chemical weapons arsenal was desctructed in this lake by means of underwater explosions at a depth of 4...6 m. The lake is closed, so currently it doesn't expose to danger nearby environment because of lack of drainage. Also the banks are strengthened with protective embankments and sandbags. Now in the immediate proximity to the lake the Leonidovka toxic weapon desctruction facility is located. In spite of its gloomy history the lake is surrounded by beautiful verdant pine forest, and in a few kms to south is a great Sursk reservoir - great place for recreation and entertainment.
