Founded when gold was found in Coleman Creek in 1869, Julian has worked hard to keep it's historic look. Drive down Main Street for a trip back in time. While the gold rush has faded, tourists make the drive up from San Diego and beyond for the apple pies, cider and fresh air. Julian receives snow in the winter and has numerous Bed and Breakfast inns to stay at.
